How did your grades turn out?
Did you register yet for fall?
What did the counselor talk about?
Did you find an apartment?
Make sure you check it out ---
Be certain it's clean and safe.
You did? That sounds like a great place!
Who will be your roommates?
Do they seem nice, your age?
Behave well and don't make noise;
Remember, you're not just one of the boys!
So, when do you start work?
How many interns on staff?
Did you thank God for favor?
Praise God and keep the faith.
Remember, integrity is the most important thing;
Your character is what counts.
Ask God for wisdom every day.
Take heed --- what goes in, will come out.
Just be still and remember,
It is God who helps you plan.
Oh, don't forget the deadline for your car sticker
Is quickly drawing near.
Do you still have your Bible
Or did it disappear?
Well, at least put the app on your phone,
Then the Word will be near.
Pray for your family and
Don't forget your friends.
Do good this summer,
And prepare for next school year.
I know I ask a lot of questions,
Mothers always do.
Just promise us you'll do what's right.
