That was many years ago, long before anger and strife.
So many things have happened, faith began to wax cold.
No more quoting Bible truths, those promises of old.
Bride goes her way, groom goes his, tensions rise and fall.
Working hard to solve their problems, just to have it all.
Church fell by the wayside, and fellowship did end.
Their Bible set on the shelf, as life began to blend.
Worldly thinking took its toll, as through their lives it paved.
No one saw their heritage, or knew that they were saved.
Tragedy struck hard one year, their pain and sorrow increased.
Seeking comfort from within, they wanted burdens released.
God could work a miracle, He still loved them so.
He could show them joy again, help their faith to grow.
Groom came home to find his bride, she quickly rose to greet.
Wonder filled her heart with hope, this night as they would meet.
"Kneel down," he said, " take my hand, I need to pray, dear wife.
I repented of my sin, and God's renewed my life."
"I repented too," she said, "God's made my heart so true.
I believe in miracles, and still believe in you."
Though all the years of hardness came up in thorns and weeds.
God, in wisdom, always reaps His produce from the seeds.
Love revives, feelings blossom, into new life for two.
Rooted deeply in the Lord, their marriage vows renew.
Treasures in God's storehouse, not touched moth and rust,
Were waiting for their hearts to turn, and in their Lord to trust.
Now they pray at every turn, answers flow unceasing.
Tenderness in every word, faith ever increasing.
Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth not rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through and steal. Matthew 6:20, KJV

Loved how you chronicled the life of the Bride and Groom, and watched them renew their love and vow to God.
