See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (NIV)
My granddaughter was born last week.
She came into the world with ten fingers and ten toes, perfect in every way.
The first time I held my son I was too nervous to enjoy the moment.
Grandchildren are different. There isn’t the same sense of responsibility. You have time to think.
It’s a wonderful experience when four generations gather in one place to celebrate new life. I took a photo and wrote under it this is the best thing I ever did.
Have you ever stopped to think God might feel the same about you?
Have you?
God can speak for Himself.
He is not silent.
He has been waiting since the dawn of time to be your Father.
You are His best work. Without you Heaven is just an empty city. Without you angels are unemployed. Without you salvation is just a theory.
Somewhere in the world today a child of God will be persecuted because he is not ashamed.
Somewhere in the world today a child of God will be tempted to do wrong and will do right.
Somewhere in the world today a child of God will forgive.
And God will say, “This is the best thing I ever did.”
Fear will say it should be.
Doubt will say it could be
Unbelief will say it can’t be.
Faith will say it is so.
One day you will be face to face with God.
I don’t know where your journey began.
But I know where it will end.
Face to face with the Living God.
Now that’s a success story!
