It was a lonely December night
The stars were out and one was bright
The Lord of Lords was born in a stable
Downloaded from God to be the only able
Way for us to be saved from our sin
In that cold dark stable instead of the Inn
The Lord grew up into a man
He worked carpentry but had a master plan
He was to climb the bloody hill
Where the Romans were to kill
Our Lord for our deadly deeds
Crucified on that cross which far exceeds
Anything that we could do
To be with God when life was through
So Christ bled and died then the veil torn
A miracle just like the night when he was born
He lay for days in a borrowed grave
Then on the third he rose to save
Us all from sin and death
Death on earth wouldn’t be our last breath
Then our great God began to upload
Our Lord with a glorious bode
Now all mankind is blessed with salvation
Our call to reach out to every nation
