The search engine in my heart finds those prayers and feelings that I can’t seem to utter. The heart knows the words I need to say and the Father can understand those groanings of my soul. Even if I do not understand what I need or want, the heart knows what to say. The heart’s search engine explores every emotion, every thought and everything that is hidden from me. Things I never knew existed, the wants and needs that have been lost. My search engine finds those little afflictions, sometime treasures, and releases them to God. He knows what I require and what I desire. He hears my inner cries, my inside joy, and knows the dreams I have not yet dreamt.
This search engine is in the heart of every Christian, filtering out the data of our souls. Looking for what we need to express to our Lord. Sometimes we know what to pray, but in times of grief or even elation we don’t have the words to express ourselves. This little search engine, also known as the Holy Spirit, is the searcher of our souls - our direct line of prayer and worship to our Father.
