Falling, flailing, fluctuating, life force fiercely failing,
Slowing senses, no pretences, life is surely
Fading, vacating spirit seeps away,
Turn tenuous rolling eyes,
Deceasing figure
Faltering till
Finally it
Dies

Distant drumming, distant strumming, distant humming droning,
As you sense a soothing spirit, do you hear it growing?
It is soft, softly sweet, sweetly soft resounding, drawing to you,
Do you know to, listen to its calling.
Lightly, drifting, can you feel it, catch you as you fall down?
Lovely light, lightly touching, brushed against your soul now.

Airy voices gently stroke, surrounding you in rapture,
Lulling you in languid love, euphoric in their capture
Rise up, slowly, sweetly, softly, rise on wings of white,
Wings of angels raise you up, into heavens sight
Rising slowly, slowly sweetly, holding you in limbo,
Succinctly swooping, surely sweeping, into heavens window.

Humming
Strumming,
Soothing growing,
Softly sweetly drawing,
Lavish loving, drifting lightly,
Touching gently stroking, open to
You enter in into, loves euphoric height,
Rising surely, angels raise you, into heavens light.

I love the pattern of the poem. It is very illiterative and well written.

Beautiful use of alliteration (and lots of other poetic devices) in this poem.

Congratulations on your runner-up placing. Like I said before, your poem really was very beautiful
