The most outlandish thing that has happened in this new century must be the prediction that the rapture would occur on May 21, 2011.
I found 242 predictions of the end of time which have been given since the death of my Savior. Of those 110 were given during my lifetime and 15 since the year 2000. I remember many of them, and silly me, has even watched the skies on one or two of those days, wondering if they could come true. Why man continues to elevate himself to think he can outwit God is beyond my understanding.
The most outlandish thing that has happened since the world began is Christ paying man’s sin debt
Even with all the faults of man, like lying, steeling, cheating, adultery and even attempting to elevate himself to the highest place of knowledge, God still wants to have a relationship with him. Why He has chosen to give us the chance of redemption is also beyond my understanding.
Outlandish Love
A love so foreign to the heart of man
A love unending beautiful and grand
Amazing love is come to show the way
Because to Bethlehem He arrived one day
To pay the price for all my sin
And free me from the pain within
I will not go down to the pits of hell
I will not of smoke and death smell
For the Son of God took my place
Blood flowed down his lovely face
It feels as if He did it all just for me
But you can know this love that’s free
Give Him your heart and He will come inside
All your ways and pathways will He guide
Then one fine day when time is no more
He will carry you through heaven’s door
His arms so strong loving and kind
Will hold you up like non other to find
Please forgive the rhyming lines from this poet
Who can find no other way of which to show it
The love that fills the soul’s innermost wish
Is perfect, amazing complete and truly outlandish
