Who Could Believe?
Although it is not true for me,
To some, the Bible outlandish may be.
A God with no beginning or end,
Creation is hard to comprehend.
God formed Adam from dust of the ground.
He made everything that was found.
Noah was told how to build an ark,
Told when to go in and disembark.
He and his family thus were saved.
Soon mankind again misbehaved.
Abraham obeyed when told to go.
Where he was going he did not know.
He waited for his promised son,
When others thought it could not be done.
Joseph by jealous brothers was sold.
Suffered hardships, his grief untold.
After all, he was able to say,
Do not fear, God planned it that way.
Moses' life was not planned by man.
God had for him a special plan.
It took ten plagues to convince Pharaoh,
The people of Israel to let go.
How about the walls of Jericho?
March around, blow horns and down they go.
With hungry lions, Daniel spent the night.
God saved him from this perilous plight.
By Jesus the multitude was fed,
With two small fish and five loaves of bread.
He healed a man who was blind form birth,
Many miracles while here on earth.
And most miraculous of all,
God's plan of salvation, free for all.
He sent His Son for us to die
So we can live with Him on high.
Too outlandish to believe, you say?
That you will, I fervently pray.
