Extravert or Introvert?
A stranger my mother never met
For soon acquainted they would get.
And my mother-in-law, as well,
Something at which both did excel.
Since this is not the way I am,
I wished I could be more like them.
I used to feel somewhat ashamed.
Until to me it was explained.
God personalities does give
And true to it I should live.
Still, there are ways we each should change
And certain traits rearrange.
Outgoing means going out of
Our way to show others God’s love.
It is a friendly thing to smile,
Thinking of others, all the while.
The Golden Rule is always good
And likely to be understood.
To practice being sociable,
Willing, we should be, and able.
Extraverts may need change too.
To listen more is good to do.
God will help us to be our best
When our love for Him is expressed.
Now, with God’s help, I’m glad to say,
I’m more out going than yesterday.
Everything He asks, I can do.
He can even make me want to.
