I don't have words to say
To penetrate your ears
You know I can, not speak aloud
Of all my dreams and fears
You hear me through the din
Of each day that we share
To understand, you try and try
To show me that you care
Seems you do not listen
Perceptions do not match
Meaning lost from, searing stares
My gaze you cannot catch
Timidly clasp our hands
Emotion to the brim
The beating of, one heart we hear
Our voices from within
We see the others truth
Although not face to face
Are we not blind, to who we are?
We clumsily embrace
Knowing how you love me
I found my way in you
Yet wounded you, so many times
Uncertainty in lieu
You yield my broken heart
Cradling the life you planned
Whilst in the world, I rage along
To find a place to stand
Steadfastly you display
You know my deepest fears
Still then I forge, on aimlessly
Unknowing of your tears
Wisdom is your duty
Patience is your calling
Kind-heartedness, your atmosphere
Calms as I am falling
Teaching me is your love
Showing me by your step
Together on, the path partake
You pause to catch my breath
Frantic to grow faster
Faint heartedly I pray
Forgiveness to, be our walk
For blowouts on our way
I don't know if you know
My trust in you is sure
Each stage I grasp, I realise
I learned to love you more
