My victory was a blowout
The temptation of young Eve
She was so easy to deceive
She didnít even seem to mind

Following soon thereafter
A parade of easy victims
Hardly even need to trick Ďem
Easy snare is all it takes

The golden calf, that too
Was a glory to behold
One could have easily foretold
They would fall away quite soon

The Master was more difficult
No stones turned into bread
No angelsí wings to spread
I was banished for a season

But judas was the best
For such a pitiable price
No need to tempt him twice
Such delicious suicide

The end game now in sight
Another blowout to expect
For He surely will accept
An easy out from painful death

Then I was dealt an awful blow
No embrace of easy victory
He did not succumb to trickery
But endured the cross until the end

And still surprises yet to come
Instead of ending with last breath
Erupting from the ties of death
The easy victory snatched from sight

Not easily dissuaded yet
I still roam earth and ply my trade
In spite of knowing I am made
For full destruction at the end

The truth is thus that victory
Was once for all won at the cross
Turns out the easy thing is loss
The win is blowing death away

I like the game theme and the tension between win/lose. I tripped of the "snare" in the second stanza but the rest flowed well.

I like it :) My favorite line "The truth is thus that victory
Was once for all won at the cross" Satan is playing a losing game. Thanks for that theme
