Time-consuming,Ē the term conjures images of things that fritter away our time; things like dishes and laundry, carpool lines and homework. Those tedious activities we do that seem to have no real value. We think of things that devour our time and take away precious moments that could be used to do ďmore important things.Ē But what if we stopped complaining of things being time consuming and found ways to use our time consuming the things of God? What if we spent more time consuming Godís word? More time consuming Godís presence? More time consuming Godís blessings? Imagine using our time to devour the bread of life instead of allowing time to devour lives? We could consume our time doing dishes and laundry by thanking our Heavenly Father for meeting our basic needs. We could consume our time in carpool lines and homework by praying Godís protection and wisdom over our children. We could transform each of those tedious activities that eat away our precious time into an opportunity to eat away at Satanís strongholds in our lives. We can make those moments precious again by thanking God for his love, asking for his wisdom and basking in his glory. How much more peaceful would life be if we stopped allowing ourselves to think of things as time consuming and began to spend time consuming the life that Jesus came to give us in full?

That's a great message!

Yes, taking every thought captive is a choice, halting negativity from "frittering" {I like your word} away precious time. The mind is part of the equation in our daily tasks. Good job.

great reflections and lots of lovely nuggets of truth here. I think if you divided into paragraphs with spacings (see some of the other reflective articles here) it would be easier to read and make the piece seem more naturally paced.having said that the contents are very good

You had a very strong message. I think I would have had an easier time reading, if you had added some kind of spacing between paragraphs.
