For a miracle to bless.
Week 1 Body is getting prepared
2 For sperm and egg to be paired.
3 Embryo now begins
4 Size of poppy seed within.
5 Baby’s brain divides now.
6. Bones develop next somehow.
7 Major organs now will start.
8 Next there is a beating heart.
9 Baby is a fetus now.
10 Cells know where to go, somehow.
11 Vital organs are now formed.
12 Swallowing can be preformed.
13 Baby now can suck his thumb.
14 Fingerprints like only one.
15 Now baby can sense light.
16 May yawn now, day or night.
17 Now begins to pack on weight.
18 Baby’s movement feels so great.
19 Talking now he can hear.
20 Now gender will appear.
21 Easy now to hear heartbeat.
22 Sticking out tongue a new feat.
23 Baby weighs about a pound.
24 Responding now to sound.
25 Wiggles fingers by choice.
26 Recognizes parent’s voice.
27 Brain develops rapidly.
28 Can blink, and wink, maybe?
29 She coughs, no one says bless you.
30 Permanent teeth come in view.
31 Five senses come around.
32 Each week now, gain a pound.
33 Night and day can be discerned.
34 Lung development no concern.
35 Have nail clippers on hand.
36 Wake and sleep beforehand.
37 Practice for life now assure.
38 Brain, lungs and nerves mature.
39 Hiccups now will occur.
40 Labor soon we prefer.
A miracle is every birth.
Perhaps the greatest on earth.
