Topic: Discern (08/12/10)
Asking Jesus for nothing, we bask in His presence;
Love never fails, for He is Love and God is with us--
Watching for Him every day and in every situation,
Always giving Jesus our deepest adoration;
Yes, and as we let the Holy Guest shine through--
Seeing the difference it makes in all we do

Discerning the darkness of the world from The Light;
Inspiring others around us to turn around and do right;
Shining brightly in the night like a city set on a hill;
Challenging each other to always do God’s will;
Entering into His house together as often as can;
Remembering how His blood washes away our sin--
Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ!

Today there is a warning for all who are born again:
Hell’s warriors will not stop enticing us to sin--
Embrace the Truth of the Word of God to win!

Taste and see that The Lord is good, my friend:
Reach out, open your heart and let the Holy Guest in--
Understanding will come later—just do it by faith:
Thank Him for being here today—it’s not too late!
He is here…simply trust Him and obey.

Awesome! The second and last paragraphs are my favorites. :)
I love the part about stepping out and encouraging others to do what's right . . . and also the part about trusting God and having faith even when we don't understand.
