Meagan cried as she walked into the office. She went to her desk sat down next to he co-worker Shirley.

Shirley, a born again Christian, asked, “Megan what’s wrong?”

Megan took a tissue and wiped her eyes, “My brother has just been diagnosed with cancer.”

“Would you like to go to the break room and talk about it?” asked Shirley.

Megan gave a smile and said, "Sure."

The two went to the break room and sat at a table.
Shirley smiled and said, “Megan I have a friend named Jesus who could heal your brother.”

With a look of dismay, Megan said, “I don’t know about this Jesus thing. How can you believe in someone who you can’t see?”

Shirley looked intently into Megan's eyes. “I believe because I have seen him work in my life. There also was a man named Thomas, who was like you, and did not believe. He was one of the disciples that did not believe that Jesus rose again. He said that he would not believe until he touched the part of the body where they drove the nails in Jesus and his side. The disciples meet in a room after he rose. Jesus came back a second time and Thomas was able to touch him. People sometimes refer to him as Doubting Thomas

Jesus is for real, I had cancer and Jesus touched me with his healing hand. If Jesus can heal me he can heal your brother.”

Megan shook her head, “There is no way that I am going to believe this Jesus could heal my brother.”

Shirley tried to reach out her hand across the table to Megan. “How about we pray for you brother and see what happens?”

Megan angrily said, “The stories about Jesus are just a fairytale!”

Shirley shook her head and said, “No, they’re not, I am telling you Jesus healed me!"

“You’re just making this up,” said Megan

Shirley sighed and said, "Jesus healed me. What is going to hurt for us to say a prayer for him?’

“Okay, I will try it,” said Megan.

“What is his name?” asked Shirley.

“His name is Joel,” answered Megan.

Shirley reached out and took Megan’s hand. “Dear Lord please come into Joel’s life and heal him from cancer. I know that you can do this. There is nothing you can not do. You healed me, I ask you to heal Joel and show both Megan and Joel that you are for real. In Jesus name amen.”

Shirley looked up at her, “Megan the Lord will not let you down. He will touch your brother with his healing hand”

Two week’s later Megan walked into the office and screamed, “He is healed, my brother is healed!”

Shirley eyes glazed over, “Megan calm down what happened?”

Megan took a breath and sat down at her desk. “The doctors did a MRI and did not find any cancer.”

“Praise the Lord,” as Shirley wrapped her arms around and gave her a hug.

“Thank you, “said Megan

“Now that you have seen the Lord is real. You should ask him into your heart and accept him as your savior.”

“How do I do that?" Megan smiled.

Megan prayed and accepted Jesus into her heart at her desk. She introduced her brother to Jesus to and he became saved.
