An un-operable brain tumor could devastate someone but not Ken. He reminisced the times when he seen the Lord work in his life with his wife Ann at his side.

Ken could barely speak when he said, "Honey do you remember how the Lord found me a new job the next day after I lost job at Ceridian?"

Ann stood by his hospital bed and smiled, "Yes, you had sent out your resume two years before. Peterson and Johnson just happened to be expanding at that time."

Ken perked up and smiled, "It"s amazing how the Lord provided that job, and how he has always provided an income."

"Do you remember how we met?" asked Ann.

Ken looked into Ann's eyes and said, "We were good friends in high school. Five years after we graduated you stated going to a singles group at church. I felt the Lord telling me that you were the women for me. I had been praying for a wife."

Ann chuckled for a second and said, "I was an answer to prayer."

"Yes you were," said Ken.

Ken looked outside the window for a second and then turned his head and looked at his wife, "Do you remember the business executive that was a good friend that provided the money we need for out Mission trip."

A smile came across Ann's face as she said, "It is neat how the Lord put it on his heart to donate the two thousand dollars we needed."

Ken reached out his hand and grabbed Ann's hand. "I have seen the Lord working in my life. He has really blessed me in my time on this earth. Now I get to see the Lord in person." He then closed his eyes and went home to the Lord.

A beautiful and touching story.

This is a lovely tribute to Ken. I wasn't sure it was on topic, but then the last paragraph opened my eyes. It is so true how God does plan for our needs long before we realize there is a need.

A sweet story.

Yeah! He closed his eyes and opened them in heaven. This is a good illustration of spiritual sight, too, seeing God in everything.

Why don't they make good men like this anymore? It was very sweet and honorable way to remember someone. It's too bad not all are like him. You might consider Romance novel. You'd probably be good at it.
