As I go about my day.
May my ears be tuned and ready
For all You have to say.
Let me hear your soft encouragement
As trouble comes nearby.
Reassure me as you often do
So that my relief I can sigh.
Let me hear your needed guidance, Lord
As I search to find my way.
Each decision made is crucial
To keeping Satan’s grasp at bay.
Let me hear your welcome chastisement
If I should stray from your side.
Do not let me wander far
For in You I must abide.
Let me hear any cry for help, Dear Lord
Each need that I can meet.
I am Your willing servant
I am Your hands and feet.
Let me hear your love reflected, Lord
In every word that I speak.
May I be a living example
Of Your goodness that others may seek.
Let me hear your gentle whisper, Father
