Just a quick note, thanks for the Book. Its truths really help, but it’s not always easy to apply them. Like it says that we’re to rejoice and be thankful in all circumstances, but circumstances and situations are quite devastating at times. Still, maintaining an attitude of thanks and joy would likely defeat anxiety and depression. I guess when we stop and remember that You are ultimately in control, and will somehow use even the worst circumstances for good for those who love You. Despite all Your efforts it seems like we just can’t quite understand who You are. Sorry to say we tend to put You in a box in an attempt to understand You. And this forgiveness business is so hard for me/us to understand. While forgiving others is best for us, it is hard. These postcards are small, so that’s all for now. Sure wish you were here, OH, You are; thanks! Love, one of Your adopted sons.
Romans 8:28 and 1Thes 5:16-18 NKJV - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. So, rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. .- (the word “So” is mine)

Why are all those people suffering? Why are so many dead? Hurricane Katrina has sure caused a lot of pain. You’re probably tired of hearing that little word, why? James Dobson said that he is sure that You’re not looking at this disaster and wringing Your hands wondering what to do about this situation. Well, thanks for the knowledge that You are the Creator of all seen and unseen things. And the knowledge that You will somehow use this mess for good to those who love You. Praise You for Your Amazing Grace and for Your Blessed Assurance. The Book says that You are omnipresent, so help all those people feel Your presence. Please meet their needs and give them the peace that passes understanding. Please re-unite families & friends with one another. Thanks because this is one of those events that causes people to be generous. Hey, maybe it does help to give thanks in all circumstances. Love, one of Your adopted children.
