Reminiscing, her crippled fingers punch the aluminum of her next liquid bullet. "Where was God…"
Olivia slurs - almost inaudible - save a few choice words. Typical of atheist nature, her chastising demonstrates
Malicious intent to disprove God‘s existence. I forge on, in-between her long gulps, praying His
Agape love for this tempestuous woman. "I don’t need anyone!" She says. "I can do it on my own!"
Nothing prepares me for the rage she describes - toward her own children - now dysfunctional adults. Love
Starved, she reminds me of the embodiment of everything evil. Her forked tongue, her reputation for

Filthy living - having slept with both men and women; barbed wire for the picket fence. "He created us
In His own image," I quote Genesis 1:27 (NIV) to which she shoots out an emphatic "Hmph!"---“Live in
Victory, Olivia. Jesus Christ laid down his life for you. Your daughter - who is with Him now - chose this
Eternity over the one of fire and brimstone - as did your precious son. You have five remaining children:

Each carrying remnants of a painful youth; Two in prison, one on drugs and all are temperamental." While
I observe her consumption, I also note her subtle disarmament. Could it be that after her 60+ years, we -
God in supremacy and I through availability - were finally penetrating Olivia’s hardened heart? If she were
Heathen, wouldn’t the fight still be in her? Olivia shifts in her kitchen chair, the room is deathly still.
Typical of atheist nature, Olivia says, "Get the h*ll out of my house!" Although sinners,

Christ died for us.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
-Romans 5:8 NIV

This is absolutely "wonderfully creative". Your message as well. No matter what the ugly sin is...we are loved. Great Job and Kudos!

Your writing style is unique and could tell you invested some time. From what I've pulled from your story, God has placed you exactly where He wants. Perseverance and prayer, my friend.

Your piece is intriguing and called for a 2nd reading in order for me to understand it better. If Olivia is real, keep trying with her. Interesting approach to an acrostic.
