Did you ever wonder how the postcards ever get started?
I wonder how the people who came up with the idea and some of the beautiful pictures of flowers, animals, and kids that are printed on them.
I also think that postcards are less expensive to send than a regular letter.
When people collect them do they ever have a value on them or do they just have a sentimental value on them?
When people travel they tend to pick up postcards to remind them of their vacation or favorite place to visit. The postcards can also help people dream of being in places where they would like to go and they don't have to leave the comfort of their homes.
I am afraid to fly so the next best thing for me to do is look at the different postcards and picture myself in the place or setting. I enjoy looking at them and try to put in words or expressions what that postcard would mean to me.
I wonder when people have these postcards, I wonder if they put them in scrapbooks or just throw them away not thinking that someone else might like to look at them.
I like to thank all the people who participate in making the postcards available to us so we can enjoy them for years to come.
I hope people can look at the postcard in a different way and use them more often for they will be alot cheaper than regular mail.
I hope people can appreciate the people who take the time to make these postcards beautiful and the time it takes to produce them.

A little spacing would make this article a smoother read. Otherwise, it was very good. Thanks for sharing!

If you ever choose to expand this, you might write about specific postcards, and you daydreaming that you are in those exotic places. Very short and sweet; thanks for sharing.

It's nice when people take the time and thought to send a loved one or friend a postcard. Your appreciation of getting postcards make it really worthwhile.
