Harry and Margaret Odonel had plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Harry and his wife and 11 children survived three years of unemployment. Both Harry and Margaret lost their jobs at the same time; both got new jobs the week before Thanksgiving.

Harry opened the oven door, "Hey Margaret, how are you suppose to tell that this turkey is done?"

"Is the turkey brown? Did the pop up timer pop up?" asked Margaret.

"Yes it is, I will take the bird out and cut it up," as Harry took the turkey out.

As Harry carved the turkey he said, "Praise the Lord, Margaret will be the best Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. The Lord provided for us the past three years. The best part is we got new jobs."

"Amen to that," as his wife cooked the mashed potatoes.

"Don't you think that there is not a better way to celebrate our new employment then with a turkey on Thanksgiving," as Harry cut the leg off of the turkey.

"I agree, the Lord has been so good to us," said as Margaret set the table for her 11 kids.

Harry brought the cut Turkey over to the table as Margaret brought the rest of the fixings over to the table. The kids could not wait to eat.

Harry sat down to prayed, "Dear father, I just want to thank you for how you provided for us the past three years. I just want to thank you for all of the people at church that have helped us. Yes the storm has been hard, but you got us through. Lord, thank you for providing a job for both me and my wife. Bless this food to our bodies and thank you for the turkey that you have provided for this feast. Today we want to celebrate how great a God you are. In Jesus name amen."

The Odonel's dove right in and it was a happy celebration of what the Lord has done for them.
