The orange sun was going down peacefully just having finished his day’s duty. He was happy to see the world blushed in orange color. He was happy that everybody was happy. After all, it should be true that orange is probably one of the happiest colors you could use. It lifts all blues. Is it looking at this orange sun that the birds return to their nest singing happy songs of meeting their pairs?

It was an autumn evening. The autumn leaves of the trees turned orange blew in the wind and everything seemed to be a complete magic of color. The birds were flying back in a hurry over the mist of the river. They crossed the corn field, swaying gold bathed by the orange sun. Without knowing why they let out a heavy sigh. There below was standing a scarecrow clothed in orange. The autumn wind was blowing making the scarecrow dance with a puffed orange shirt!

The scarecrow was standing high in the center of the corn field watching over the swaying corn. He was very proud . How powerful he is! All the intruders should be terrified by his sight. All the birds should be scared by his dance. The corn is ripe and he field has given a very good yield. A very rich income it should bring! All because of his careful watch! Stiff and forlorn, the scarecrow was always on the watch. “Ah! All should salute me with their hats off for my able service!” That was the wish of the scarecrow. He was quite convinced that all this rich growth owes to his powerful watch! The scarecrow was adoring himself in his reveries!

The autumn moon was already up in the sky announcing the scaring night. The proud scarecrow danced and pranced around like a weekend drunkard. The wind began to blow high and low raising the tempo of his movements! But who can withstand his great power? Now he is the king of the arm. The whole farm is entrusted to his control.

In his prance, he reached the farmhouse. The doors were already locked. But the sound from inside was clear. The boys of the house were in prayer. That was their daily evening prayer. They were praying to keep the farm safe. They were reading from the Holy Book.

“There was a rich man and his land had produced a good harvest. He thought: ‘What shall I do? For I am short of room to store my harvest.’ So this is what he planned: ‘I will pull down my barns and build bigger ones to store all the grain, which is my wealth. Then I may say to myself: My friend, you have a lot of god things put by for many years. Rest, eat, drink and enjoy yourself.’ But God said to him: You fool! This very night your life ill be taken from you; tell me who shall get all you have put aside?’ This is the lot of the on who stores up riches instead of amassing for God.” (Luke 12: 15-21)

The scarecrow was shocked. He knew where he belonged and his place on the earth. He should do only the job. Reward is God’s! It was a magical learning for the dancing orange scarecrow!

You've painted quite an orange world with your story. Very creative and a nice ending message!
