Last Night Jehovah remembered his faithful promises.
He heard from on high, all creation moaning in great expectation,
waiting for the sons of God to be revealed.
At the sound of His voice, Angels were disbursed to do His bidding.
They flew over the balconies of heaven, paintbrushes in hand,
and descended throughout our earthly atmosphere.
They lighted upon tree tops, bushes, shrubbery, and yes, even briars.
Ministering angels, intent in only fulfilling the purposes of God.
With strokes more perfect than Michelangelo, Rembrandt, or Monet,
they painted the foliage to the glory of God.
Orange, amber, magenta, sandalwood, red; all mingled together, God’s tapestry design.
You could almost hear the angels singing, invading our dreams,
“To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven.” (NKJV)
I awoke this morning to the dawning of Fall, aware of God’s handiwork,
utterly amazed at the beauty He so lovingly set before his children.
Great is His faithfulness.
