Today as I sat here at my computer, I was trying to get my mind in the mood to write on the word for this week at Faith Writers. Some people have a very easy time with given words, while I fuss and fidget on what I can use to make an article that would glorify my
God.

In my spirit came the word oyster, and with that I began to think of a new birth.
We become like newborn babies when we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. And unlike a pearl that begins inside the shell of the oyster constantly being perfected until it is found and examined to see how precious it is, we are sealed, protected, and already precious in His sight.

So much so that He gave His life to save you and me. He did not set us aside and check to see if we were precious or not, because to Him, we already are. It is at the time we accept Jesus Christ that we are born again, and begin a new life, a new birth that will in His time take us to a city made of gold and precious stones to live with Him forever.

Like the song “I have a Mansion just over the hill top”, I have a mansion that was prepared for me the day I said, “I believe.”
