There comes a season in every man’s live when he has to pass through this time of deadness. It is a time when everything around that person feels dead yet they are alive and healthy. This is the winter season in that person’s life.
Consider the season winter and try to picture dead things, yes dead on the surface, but deep down they are still alive and breathing, but the surface is covered in eerie whiteness. Snow caps fill all the void left uncovered, the roads are not spared as you can hardly see into the distance. So is the life of a man when the winter closes in on him, his pathways are not seen easily while he leaves a sizable legacy behind him yet the snow comes and covers it up without a trace.
Consider the wasting disease that comes to man without warning, so are the winter season, gradually it comes and quietly erodes away the beauty of the scenic surroundings that man has so labored to make pleasant before the eye that you wonder if the winter will ever go away.
Due to the fact that man is limited by the turn of events within her environment, she hides inside, steaming hot coals inside her place of abode while the bear glories in the whiteness of the land, the fox is set free to hunt and howl at will.
The season of winter is a season that man stands still and only moves a limb during the time of the Christmas celebration that see man move in a mad frenzy to claim all the freebies and goodies the stores have on offer, the frenzy is so high that many after all the marathon shopping are so knocked out that they go home and warm there legs in padded blankets.
A time to die, a time to sow, a time to reap, yes but who dares reap in winter?

Interesting thoughts!
Try to use a story to illustrate those thoughts.
Keep writing.

Your article about winter is a soul-searcher. You sound so down and out! Cheer up, the best is yet to come!

The deadness has been overcome and is no more. We look forward to eternity in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, our Lord and King.

Now that's something to celebrate, winter, spring, summer or fall! Amen!

You are a good writer and be encouraged!
