ADULTHOOD
When a child is born, it is the wish of the parents that that child grows and attains adulthood and become responsible to the society and self.
Adulthood is a period in a person’s life from the age of 18 years where he/she begins to take certain responsibilities and decisions about his/her way of life. Adulthood is a transition from childhood, where the parent of the child caters to the very needs of the child from birth to the age of 18. Now let us take a close look at the different stages of adulthood.
We have four stages of adulthood!
Emerging adults, aged 14 to 34, these are the adults that are generally looked upon by society as the ‘bad eggs’. They (mostly) are grossly uncared for as children and grew up to become and look upon society as scorn.
The next stage is the adults that are on the rise, in the bracket of age between 35 to 52 years old. They are adults that believe in themselves, they see everyone as an obstacle and a stepping stone to be surmounted by them. They come first and are for themselves alone, they will stop at nothing to be noticed by all.
Life they say begins at forty, but after forty what comes up next? That is the question the next stage of adulthood will tend to answer. The next stage of adulthood is the range age bracket of 53 to 70 years. These are adults that when at a tender age, were so proactive and now retired, they have developed an attitude of been lead and not to lead, they look before they leap.
Lastly the mature adulthood class that are of the age 71 to fade, they are a unique set of adults that believe with a little perseverance you can do all things, they are the adults that pay close attention to the little bit of details that other adult groups overlook and which we call wisdom, they are guided by experience from past events and they advice the overly rash young ones as they are called.
Adulthood is that period of time when a man or woman will leave home with the mission to get settled down with a life long partner or friend and make choices that are to govern his or her life for ever. An adult that makes a decision will reflect how his/her life will be fashioned for ever.
Adulthood comes with great responsibilities, to be able to get into the concept of adulthood, one needs to critically get into the head of the personality involved and try to see what makes that person behave the way and manner he/she does, for adulthood is looked at as a time in anyone’s life where his/her intellect, both mental and physical development are at a level of maturity and wellness.

You made some interesting generalities about the four stages of adulthood. I'm not sure I totally agree but your ideas are thought provoking. Keep writing!
