The rain on the window pane mirrors my tears.
Tears of self-doubt, worry and fears.

Who am I and what do they see?
Only HE really knows me.

Still working on HIS perfect plan,
I wait patiently to become a man.

Struggles I face daily but I am not alone,
I can not fail for HE is on the throne.

The enemy whispers with promises of awe,
Take a drink, tell a lie, don’t listen to HIS call.

Disguised as a friend, acquaintance or stranger,
But the Holy Spirit warns of impending danger.

I want to be faithful, I want to be true,
But I also want to be liked, want to be cool.

I will call out HIS name and know he is near,
Satan, you will be defeated - the Angels will cheer.

Awkward and unsure in a world full of wicked ways,
Let me turn from evil and lift HIM up in praise.

Steadfast and pure, I remain to HIS call,
With HIS love and grace, I can not fall.

Reads short and sweet. I like the two line format. Well done.

Yes, the content and craft dovetail nicely to bring an effective message. I like it!
