GARDEN OF PEACE

Close your eyes, take a slow deep breath….that’s it. Imagine a garden of beautiful flowers, water fountain, and birds sweetly singing. Place yourself inside a Gazebo with a gentle breeze blowing while you relax and feel Gods presence as He softly caresses your heart. You tell him all your problems, worries, hopes and desires. A song swells inside you and you start humming. Soon those worries seem to fade, and seem less important as you place them at Jesus feet.

You begin the Path of Love. The path which Jesus trod on the way to calvary. As you journey, He lifts your burdens and walks beside you and guides you. He speaks to your heart and comforts you, and you know that this is the Love outpoured for all mankind. There are angels that also accompany you and you can almost feel the brush of their wings as they too pray and sing along the path.

This garden retreat is in my backyard. A few years ago the Lord placed it upon my heart to build the stations of the cross in my yard. After much prayer it came into being. God sent people into my life who helped me in the various stages of development.
It was blessed by the priest, and the Lord himself who came down in the form of a cloud, like in the time of Moses. (The entire story is too long to fit into this spot.)

This Garden of Peace is open to the public and has been visited by people from Florida to New Jersey and places on Long Island. It is a quiet place of prayer and meditation. Who knows someday you may find yourself in this place of prayer.

It's amazing what the Lord puts into our hearts and minds to do to serve his purpose. Just think how many people have been blessed by coming to your "Garden of Peace". Thanks for sharing.

What a nice place to have for a retreat! Would love to hear more about what's inside, around each corner, maybe some of the interesting people you have met there!
