When adverse storms strike, some people view it as a glass that is half empty; some people view it as a glass that is half full.
There is good and bad in most situations.
Due to a dispute with a family member the Christmas of 2007 was bad (glass half empty). My family lived 700 miles away, and I was not able to see them.
The good (glass half full) was that it reminded me that I need to depend on Jesus for my happiness not other people.
The Lord provided friends to spend Christmas day with. I got an anonymous gift's from a co-worker in a red tub next to my car. I got called at the last minute to work on the tech team for my church's Christmas production. In 2006 I was out of town.
The Lord made it up with my family. He turned Easter into a belated Christmas. He even provided a foot of snow. There was a Christmas wreath on the door of my sister's house.
The Bible says "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten, Joel 2:25.
The cup was half empty, but the Lord made it half full.
