Before my surgery I was nervous because I had a bad experience when I was seven.

My pastor prayed for me.

After I rejoiced because it went well.

Before last week my summer mission's trip was in limbo, because the air tickets would have been $300.

I prayed.

After last week the price dropped to $156.

Before the baby shower for my boss went longer than I expected.

I prayed.

After taking an hour away from my work, I was able to get done on time.

Before I was concerned with the weather on my road trip from St Louis to Minneapolis/St Paul.

A friend prayed with me.

After I was praising the Lord that he got me through a major snowstorm.

Before I was worried about my conversation that I needed to have with my landlord.

I prayed.

After I was thankful my conversation went well with him.

If you pray before each challenge, the Lord will take care of the after.

Prayer does move mountains, doesn't it! Thanks for sharing your testimony. Some editing on punctuation and spacing will spruce up your piece. Keep writing and writing.

So often I forget this! Thanks for the reminder. Maybe you could put a comma after "after"? OR say afterwards? Just to make for easier reading.
