The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. --Luke 19:10 (NIV)

Do you have your passport to Heaven?
I donít have one cause Iím only seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
Well Iíve been bad at times, is that sin?

Ms. Jones said that Jesus paid the price,
I think that is really kinda nice,
I asked Him into my heart like Ms. Jones said,
Always said my prayers as I climbed into bed.

Do you have your passport to Heaven?
Can I come back later; Iím only twenty-seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
Iíve been fighting my tendency to sin,

But only Jesus can give me a clean slate.
Canít wait, and know itíll be really great,
To worship our Heavenly Father, The Holy One,
To see my Big Brother, His only begotten Son.

Do you have your passport to Heaven?
Misplaced mine when I turned seventy-seven,
Why should you be allowed to go in?
I tried but could not control every sin,

Many have said that Jesus paid the price,
I think that is really more than nice,
I love Christ as much as I loved my wife,
Iím trusting Him to give me eternal life.

Stop any doubt, donít even think twice,
Trust that Christ Jesus has paid the price,
Stand in front of the blue curtain and smile,
This passport will clean out your sin file.

This is important so do it right now,
Whatever you think donít even wait awhile,
You and Iíve taken turns being a real dope,
Itís Jesus Blood that gives us any hope.

ďLord, Please forgive me for my sins,
Youíre the passport thru which eternal life begins,
Come into my life and make me whole,
Help me love You with all my heart, mind and soul.Ē

See You in Heaven?

This was good. I liked the last line of each refrain addressing the sin factor. That was a nice progressive movement that culminated well with a strong provactive prayer.
God Bless and Keep Writing

What a wonderful way to show a person is never too old to accept Christ! Good job!

Very nice -liked the progression. One thing I'd rather have seen -that he loved the Lord more than his wife :)
Julianne Jones08/04/05
Loved the rhythm - found myself moving in time! Well-thought out. A reminder that as long as we're alive it's never too late. Keep writing!
