When our faith fails, we are our own worst enemy. That's bad. But Romans 8:28 KJV says, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose. Every day brings a challenge. When we rise in the morning, we better suit up. We need the whole armour of God. Just as you would slip into your house slippers, get your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. How can we possibly walk on stony ground without some cushion for the feet? Wrap your loins with the truth. The enemy is getting nervous already as he stands watching you dress. Have faith in God for our faith is what shields us from all those fiery darts. The breastplate of righteousness guards our hearts and the helmet of salvation guards our thoughts. (Ephesians 6:13-17 KJV) I love God's word. It's a sword that can be whisked out and waved in the face of the enemy. Psalms 34:19 KJV Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Are you dressed yet?
