Have you ever experienced a broken heart?
Your life loaded with despondence and despair?
The tears flow so freely, it seems there’s no hope,
No real purpose for your life anywhere!
But, as the tears clear from your blinded eyes,
You get a better view of the huge cloud.
The silver lining begins to peak through,
You know that with God’s strength you are endowed.
Christ lovingly lifts the weighty burden.
Our job is to prayerfully let it go,
To cast our burden completely on Him;
Accept the plans that mortals cannot know.
Our lives will never be of great value,
Until we are molded by the Potters hand.
There are times we’re placed in the fire of test,
Because each step of our life has been planned.
Rejoice in the blessings of the mountain tops;
Though these occasions may see somewhat rare.
We are told-think on the things that are good,
Then, we’ll praise God for His blessing and care.
Peace and joy bursts forth in the yielded heart
There’s no more darkness or depth of despair.
Though we may not understand all of life,
We’re overjoyed to be kept in His care!
