Joe had heard some terrible news,
His plans were sure to change.
Would his heart now feel the blues?
And his life would rearrange.

The girl that he was sure to marry,
Had seemed to let him down.
There was a child that she would carry,
And his seed would not be found.

Human nature said to run.
This child is not your own.
This relationship would be done.
Just put her to the stone.

If Joe had had a hardened heart,
She would have died that very hour.
Instead an angel did his part,
Revealing the Holy Spirits power.
.
His heart was softened that very minute.
And the truth became so real.
For her womb had the Savior in it,
And in time the Truth reveal.

So Joe and Marry raised their Son,
Knowing that He was the Truth.
Teaching till their time was done,
He had grown out of His youth.

The Son would use His power each day,
To heal the weak and lame.
And the hard of heart will have to pay,
For denouncing His real fame.

I thank the Lord for dear old Joe,
Who was willing to do his part?
For there is one thing that I know,
That itís, ďA Condition Of The Heart.Ē
