She was in a place of darkness,
the darkest pit of deep despair.
She had no vision for a future,
There was no hope for her life’s repair.

People spoke of her “potential”
They wrote her off as such a shame.
They were so glad they weren’t in her shoes
Her life was in shambles she must be to blame.

All the friends she thought were fireproof,
how they had toasted her success.
They were nowhere to be found now,
far removed from this terrible mess.

Who knows how she found her voice to pray
She, who could not swallow food,
From the anxiety and broken heart
born of the darkest and blackest of mood.

From inside a cry to God
Came from her deepest core
A wail of wails to Heaven went up
As she fell upon her floor.

Her self reliance as gone as tears
Her failure so complete.
When she recalled in her Weakness He is Strong
She felt her heart skip a beat!

Her heartfelt cry to Heaven heard
she experienced a mighty release.
Through the murky waters she saw daylight
She found her way up from down on her knees!

2 Corinthians 13:9“We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is for your perfection” NIV

Charles Stanley said something like "We stand tallest when on our knees."
Nice.

Going from hopeless to full of hope--God does that for us. Good feelings here.
