As someone who has traveled to more than eight countries in this world, I have heard more than once the words "Do you have your passport?" It is a funny thing about passports, for such a tiny little thing they tell so much. It tells who you are, where you were born, and yes ladies, how old you are. It also tells you where you've been and where you are allowed to go (Travel Visa). With the current geopolitical situation of the world, entrance into places are more and more strict. Without this little book you may not be allowed to enter the country or worse, you may be detained or arrested for trying to enter without a passport.
If you have not yet tried to apply for a passport, allow me to give you a little insight. To start on your path for obtaining a passport, you must find the correct forms. It is much easier to do in the world of "online.” Once upon a time you had to really look hard just to find this specific piece of paper. Next, you have to fill this paper out with all your personal information with birth certificates and mother's maiden name, a couple pictures with strict guidelines on to how big they are, what kind of background, and more(showing your ear for some reason). After you get all that paperwork complete, there is something more you must do. You must pay the application fee. Now that you have your paperwork completed and the money, you must mail it to the right place. With all that said and done, there is nothing left to do but waiting. The average wait time was 6-8 months the last time I checked on a passport. So there you go. Now you have yourself (or will have) a brand, spanking new passport to travel the world. Did you apply for your visa? I will not go into this aspect of traveling.
That is one passport that you can obtain through your works. But there is somewhere that I want access to that holds more in store for me than just pretty beaches and souvenirs. There is a place where love abounds, a place where the streets are paved with the purest of gold. There is a place where you can find rest. This place is paradise. Heaven. Like many places in this world, a passport is required. But for this passport, no works of yours will be enough. For this passport the only fee is faith. This "Passport to Heaven" is through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ. Do you have your passport?
