I have a friend who lives in Melbourne. She was saying prostitution is legal and that women have choice whether to go into the profession and that it is regulated and that they must undergo health screening. she did not take a moral position on it. I did. I said it is wrong. Then I thought of Gomer from the bible and how God used her as a metaphor for Israel's turning away from Him. And I thought to myself, I am guilty of this too. Perhaps not in the physical sense, but emotionally and spiritually. Therefore, I really cannot put myself on a higher moral ground can I, but I can live by laws of another world.

They do things differently in the land of Oz. Even the water runs counterclockwise. It is beautiful there, with the red Ayers rock and the Sydney Harbor. And the people are very friendly.

The Maori live there, yes? Aborigines who live by the superstition of the Dreaming, the stories of creation and two worlds: the real world and the spiritual and that we were spiritual beings before we manifested into physical form. It is interesting to learn about.

I still believe I am a child of God, created by the Almighty Creator, who not only created Australia, but everyone in it, and that everyone can become a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Your entry confirmed what I've been thinking about and am currently writing a novel about as far as prostitution and how the Bible cautions that disobedience and rebellion are just as repugnant to Him as iniquity. As Christians, we don't always surrender to God, or obey His ways in our actions and decisions, which puts us on the same level with those practicing iniquity. And also like you said, our thoughts often condemn us.
