Is not the Lord's creation amazingly beautiful? The Lord created plants on the third day, and on the fifth day he created animals. That is why I would love to be able to go to Australia. I like beautiful scenery and from what I know Australia is a scenic place.

Australia is one of the six largest nations in land area. Because of its location south of the equator the seasons are reversed. When the United States is having winter, it is summer in Australia. We're all used to the sun going from the east to the south to the west. In Australia it goes from the east to the north to the west.

Australia is not just a continent but it is also a country. The climate is one that is like a desert; in fact it is the driest on earth.

I would love to go to Yengo National Park. I like to look at the different trees and animals. It has mountains, gorges and walking tracks. One of the places I might like to walk to at Yengo is Clare's Bridge. It is one of the oldest bridges in Australia.

One of the animals that I think about, when I think about Australia is the kangaroo. The kangaroo is the national symbol of Australia. There have 60 different types of Kangaroos in Australia. One neat thing about them they have a pocket in front. I looked at a picture of a baby kangaroo in the pocket of her mother. Also kangaroos hop around instead of walking. I have never seen a Kangaroo. I think it would be fun to see one.

I just love to explore other lands, habitats and animals that the Lord has created. When I see what God created it makes me realize God is powerful and there is no problem that he cannot solve.

A nice devotional, especially your first and last paragraphs.

The middle section is very report-like--think about what devotional lessons we could learn from those facts, perhaps?

I'd love to go there too.

This is a great listing of the where and the why. Just a suggestion if you should want to expand later: Something I like to do, is imagine myself there. How would I feel, what would I see and hear, how would I react? What would I do if I did see a kangaroo or a koala?
