I hadn’t seen her in a while, and wanted to. I knew that before she had been working on those flowering plants down in the south. She loved the flowering plants best. I loved the tall plants with the large fruits.
I heard her before I saw her. She was talking with someone, probably one of the animals; altho it could be one of the angels or God himself. Where was she? What was she doing over there, of all places?
I came around the corner and stopped suddenly. There she was, standing at the foot of the tree! She turned toward me and I saw, in her hand…
She had done it. She had done what He said we might not do.
It could be done.
We didn’t have to follow His laws. We could act on our own.
I moved toward her…
