Home. Where is our home? Christmas is a season that for many brings wonderful memories of good things. For others itís a literal nightmare and a time of almost unbearable loneliness. Amidst the preparations and anticipation of the dayís festivities many seem to get lost caught up in some great delusion about what Christ truly came for. Otherís cringe at the thought of Christmas coming not looking forward to the day when loneliness wraps its suffocating tendrils around them.

The babe in the manger left behind all of the splendor of heaven and all of the riches He possessed there to redeem something far more valued by Him and Father - YOU.

God sent His own Son to be born in a stable, most likely a cave dug into the side of a mountain to shelter animals. At the moment of His birth His mother wrapped Him in swaddling clothes foreshadowing the death and sacrifice He would one day suffer for His and Fatherís most valued possession - YOU.

Where is home? In the Heart of Father. Have you arrived yet?

Heís calling you to come home. Heís calling you to find your rest in HIM amidst the trouble and turmoil of the current dayís crises. Jesus left the splendor of His home to come into this world for you. He came to bring you back home to the bosom of the Father into the safe, secure haven of His awesome, mighty love.

Life is in the Spirit. This Christmas season Father is calling for you to come home to Him..

Home is in the Heart of Father, the best, most secure, safest place to be any time of year.

Wonít you come home now? Lay down your burdens and cares and run into His awaiting arms. Enjoy the best Christmas ever at Home in the Fatherís bosom.

Whether youíre preparing for a festive holiday warmly surrounded by family and friends or dreading the day when you feel completely forgotten by the world around you - Father is there, waiting to comfort, to heal, to strengthen, to carry you, to restore, to make you whole. Father is there to make wherever you are truly Home.

Carol, I just wanted to let you know that you did very well in the Challenge this week. Even though you didn't quite make it into the winners' circle, you made it into the highest rankings for Level 1, placing 6th for the level. (You were just one off a Highly Commended award.)

The competition is always quite intense in Level 1, so well done. Keep up the great writing.

If you would like to check the highest rankings for yourself, you can see them here:
