Every year I had most of the gifts in which I received from my family. One year when I was eight, I asked for a "Easy Bake Oven." I looked through the wrapping paper so many times, and I see a picture of an oven. On Christmas morning when I opened the gift, I was right! It was an easy bake oven. I just bought that gift for my own daughter. I think she will be impressed.
When we were young, I liked to get up early on Christmas morning, and look through my stockings. My brothers looked through their stockings as well.
These days as a tradition at Christmas time, my whole family gets together, and my brothers or my sons take turns to be Santa Claus, and hand out the gifts to each of the family members.
As well as recieving gifts, I like give people gifts. I made some hats and mittons for my neices. This year I plan on making them a story book which I almost completed. I hope that they will like it.
Besides receiving and giving gifts, I think about the wonderful gift that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Each year when I attend a candle light service,
I think about how God sent his only beloved son to save us from our sins. This gift does not compare with the gifts that many people receive Christmas morning. That is the greatest gift of all.
