I love Christmas Cards. I love sending them and I love getting them. They keep me in touch with people I have not seen in years. Without the annual Christmas card with a note or letter attached I would have lost touch with many friends years ago, but our annual Christmas card keeps us connected. We think about and pray for one another all year long just on the strength of that one correspondence.

I love the cards themselves. Whether they are funny, have beautiful scenery or take me back to Bethlehem, they all share the message of love and a reminder of Godís greatest gift. I buy a big assortment and try to send a card that fits the recipient like a prayer for peace or joy to one who has had a tough year, a fuzzy puppy for my dog loving friend or a funky snowman for the kid at heart. Every card is sent with love and prayers for Godís blessings on the lives of the recipients.

Receiving cards is even more special. To know that someone loves me and wants to share Christmas greetings gives me joy. I even enjoy the business cards sent to encourage my continued customer loyalty. E-cards are fun too with their animated greetings and interactive fun. Whatever form they take, Christmas cards are a beautiful way of sharing love and staying connected with friends and family.

Your joy over Christmas comes across loud and clear.
May I suggest that what you need to do is ask yourself what impact I want my article to have on my readers? After all, no one writes just for the sake of getting their own thoughts down. We all want to have our work read and for it to be a blessing to others.
Take some time to read some of the entries in Advanced and ask yourself what the underlying message is in each case. And if you leave a comment behind, this will be appreciated as well.
