I love baking cookies at Christmas time even though it is a lot of work. My daughter helps me put the ingredients in the bowl, and she also mixes the batter as well. One year we gingerbread cookies. I accidently put in too much ginger. I gave some the gingerbread cookies to some of the women whom I attend bible study with once a week.

Some of the women may have the gingerbread cookies too strong, and I felt a bit bad for them. I ate a few myself, and it was a bit too strong. My husband had one, and he said,
"What are you trying to do to me? Are you trying to kill me!?"

Most of the time I like to make short bread cookies. My daughter and I make a dozen every year for Christmas. We decorate it with green, red, and white sprinkles.
I also like to eat them every year with a glass of eggnog.

At Christmas time, my family and I usually put on some turkey. My husband looks after the turkey while I mash the potatoes, put on the dressing, and the vegetable.

It sounds like you have a lot of fun baking at Christmas time.

There were some missing words and other minor typos, but those can easily be fixed. Don't be afraid to use the full 750 words to tell your story. I would have enjoyed you sharing more of your Christmas cooking/baking experiences.

Thank you for sharing this! Keep on writing. :)

You left me wanting more. I love working with my daughter as well in the kitchen. It is such fun to "create" with someone.
Good job.
