It is easy to view life as a game. Some play as if it were poker, or chess. Shuffling the pieces or cards along, to attain the great prize. But in the game of life, if you don't stay on the straight and narrow, you entire life can change in a moment. And present you with more questions than answers.

On May 23, 2008, I was coming home from work, and I was in a car accident. My right hand and my left leg was damaged. for six weeks I walked on crutches. Unable to fulfill my duties on my job, I went on medical leave. Before my time was completed, my superviisor fired me. He didn't ahve the guts to do it in person, he sent me a voice mail. I became depressed and very despondent. My thoughts were: How was I going to make it? I just moved into a new apartment. Just got married, and my life was changing. God inofrmed me, He would never leave me or forsake me. He loves us, even though changes. And as time goes on, this will not be my biggest challenge. The closer you become to God, the greatest the challenge. And your life suddenly becomes full circle. You are no longer living for yourself, but you are glorifying God everyday.

Even thhrough my aches and pains I stil had to stand. My hand still ached, when even the smallest task such as combing my hair became impossible. standing too long was a challenge. Do I give or do I return to the race?

I had to return to the race. The prize wasn't my hand healing, even though I am grateful or my leg working. It could have been much worst. The prize was standing inthe midst of life's challenges.

Life has no guarantees. But it does offer hope when you don't have any. It offers words from God when no one around you understands.

The greatest prize is Eternal Life, knowing ehn all of the challenges of this life is complete. You will forever be with the Lord, and there will be no more tears or pain. You will be showered with his eternal blessings around the throne!

Yes, we must live our life the best we can, through His power. It would help you to have a friend proof your entry before submitting. Good thoughts.
