Many times we go through life wondering why. Why this, or why that. Why didn’t’ this work out for me, or why God, why! We wonder all of this without truly stopping and letting God answer those questions. It is just so easier to stay in the desert rather than go to the truth, because sometimes we don‘t want to make the effort to change. So why do we do that? Well, it all falls under this one common thing that we all seem to suffer with called selfish desire!

Don’t want to admit that one huh? Guess what, facing the facts brings true freedom from all of the questions. Okay, so you’re probably thinking, well she just doesn’t understand my problem. You are right, I don’t, but He does! We pour out all of those questions when we get away from our responsibility of maintaining our relationship with the Father. Did we think after we got saved, that was it? If that was it, then what is our purpose here? Just to exist? No! If we are true believers and our hearts are as His and He dwells in our hearts then we desire to grow and to learn and to bring others into a right relationship with Jesus.

It is our selfish wills that bring us to the point where we expect God to just step in and take care of all of the messes that we get ourselves into. He didn’t make us do the things we did, or tell us we wouldn‘t have trials; we allowed ourselves to get there. Now, I am not saying He doesn’t allow us to go through things, but I am saying that most of the time it was me who got too busy to open my bible or pray; it was me who didn’t’ want to serve or pour out myself for others. It wasn’t God who left me, it was I who left Him! He is not going to act like some kind of magician and with the snap of his fingers, you will decide to follow Him with everything. He wants us to choose Him. He wants us to fellowship with Him.

What we need to do is what He told us to do a long time ago; count the cost! It will cost you your will and your life at times, to follow Him. Just know that He is with you every step of the way and will always lead you and guide you to where you need to be! Don’t give up, seek Him, pray and to His will, give in!

I like your title. There's a lot in this.
It might help to focus on one specific thought and show it in a certain situation.
Good thoughts
