When I read the word “Snap” for this week, I was trying to piece together in my mind several objects that could be used, like snap dragons, snap turtles, to snap a photo, and to snap suspenders. But in all these ideas none could convey what was on my mind.
When we are living in our old fleshly nature, we are pretty much wild and free to do as we wish, with nothing to hold us together. When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we become an object that attaches ourselves to a body of believers to function as a whole. In other words, we snap ourselves to a Church and in doing so, what ever we do from that point on effect that body of believers. We are held accountable for our actions, and as such, we must be the bible that unbelievers never read.
Heavenly Father
My prayer is that I am a shinning example of what you are in my life.
My Lord, my God, my Savior and Friend.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
