He woke up in the early morning and out the window looked.
The sun was shining brightly as he thought of his flight booked.
He knew there was a choice to make at the start of every day.
So this morning he decided to get on his knees to pray.

He prayed dear God You are the Truth and on You I will rely.
Give me peace and confidence as I get on that plane to fly.
The feeling that comes over me just makes my soul feel bare.
I know that I cannot control this plane up in the air.

He made it to the airport and they told him now to board.
He sat down at the seat assigned and hooked up his seatbelt cord.
His fear of flying poked at him as they waited to depart.
But deep inside he knew there was the Lord within his heart.

He prayed dear Lord You are the truth and a blessing now I see.
Help me to look past my fear to the peace from You thatís free.
I know that when my mind will stray and start thinking of the worst.
Itís then that I look down at life and start thinking itís a curse.

The plane took off with turbo thrust and his ears began to plug.
And after the plane was in the air the engine seemed to lug.
Just like Peter who walked on water his faith started looking bare.
And at that moment he forgot to trust which made his life a dare.

He prayed dear Father You are the truth, please forgive me for my doubt.
And donít ever let me not remember what my salvation is all about.
Help me just to trust You Lord with my insecurities.
It is only then I can have peace as I fly above the seas.

The plane would reach its destination and was safely on the ground.
He felt relieved and now had hope that security was found.
He learned a lesson on that plane that life could always be worse.
Itís more of what he made of it: ďA Blessing Or A Curse.Ē

He prayed my Master You are the truth and Iím more confident today.
That on Your path I will be safe as You show me the right way.
Forgive me Lord when I fail and might not seem to care.
And think that life is just a game such as ďTruth or Dare.Ē
