It was the beginning of the workday at Digital Solutions; Joe arrived early to work today as usual. Joe wanted to make one last phone call before he started work. Jenny his co-worker arrived at the same time and was checking her e-mail.
"Oh Man, I punched in the wrong number on my phone card again," Joe said.
"Why do I have a hard time using my phone card," exclaimed Joe.
"Maybe you need to slow down and not be in a hurry it might help you concentrate on dialing the right number, " said Jenny.
"It seems like I have a hard time concentrating when I do the small stuff. For instance balancing my checkbook. When I get home on Friday I start my dinner, then I balance my checkbook. I know if I turn on the TV that will interrupt my train of thought," contemplated Joe.
"It might be my hunger pains and the fact that by dinner time I am just worn out that may affect my concentration," said Joe.
"Have you ever thought about doing it at a different time," said Jenny.
"I don't know it seems like if I don't do Friday night I forget," Joe explained.
"You know Joe, the neat thing about working with you is that we are both Christians. The Lord can help you with the little things, all you need to do is just pray, and ask him to help you," explained Jenny.
"I have this tendency not to ask him to help me with these small things. I need to learn to ask him for help for everything big or small," said Joe.
"You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you," said Jenny.
Thank you, we need to get to work Jenny," said Joe.
They both went there separate ways and started work.
