The character and endurance of a family home is based on its foundation. The mixing of the foundation material will require an equal amount of prayer, faith, trust, strength, and courage to weather its member’s life experiences and shifting emotions. In the family home there is a constancy of various emotions. Its structure holds the family’s joyful experiences, desires, hopes, and secrets. The décor expresses the family’s life style, and the daily atmosphere is set by its member’s emotions. On any given day there can be emotions of compassion, love, joy, anger, disappointment, and/or hopelessness filling the family’s social environment and creating a memory scrapbook. The family home’s memories are created from the many delightful social gatherings, quality family time, painful experiences, and harmful secrets.

The rooms in the family home have enjoyed the laughter coming out of an upstairs bedroom as the teenagers indulge in a pleasant game of charades, have heard the cheering and “high-five” clapping as the men appreciate a challenging basketball game on the 52 inch HDTV screen in the family room, and has gone through heartfelt experiences in the kitchen as the women discuss and share about weekly bargains, coming church events, personal challenges, hopes, and family secrets.

Moreover, the strength of the family home is conditioned and increased by its member’s commitment to share their true emotions regardless of how painful or vulnerable they may be. This style regiment brings a long its partners of prayer and faith encouraging trust in the Word of God. And on this note, I speak to the diversity of family homes being built to bring comfort in all situations from God’s encouragement in Galatians 6:2 (NLT), “Share each other’s troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” The family home must be certain of its confidence in the Word of God. Every desire should be approved through pray, every purpose encouraged by faith, and the architect of it all created with Scriptural dynamics. Experience life together!

Yes... a home is more the emotions and fellowship of the family than the house itself.
A few examples would have helped the reader relate to your thoughts.
Good thoughts. Keep writing.
