Today's world is full of darkness and evil deeds. You have all over the world people who are hurting and full of torment and pain. They are looking for help in all the wrong places, and it just seems to them no one cares about their feelings, what they are going through, or how they are going to get out of the situations they are faced with everyday. Some people are even suffering in their minds about past experiences that torment them day and night. They ponder on how they were abused in the past by a family member, how mom or dad never listened to them, or how they had to teach themselves how to survive in today's world. This is were the job of being a light in a dark world comes in. Jesus told us to let our lights shine before men so that they would see our good works and glorify God the father. We as christians should be the light that people see that would give them hope. While we keep in mind it is not us but Christ that lives in us that brings light to the world today. People don't want to see you being a light today and living look hell the next day. The time is now that we lift up the name of Jesus Christ and live the life as the word of God tells us to.
